- ➤ The Town of Normal announced a public comment period that began on June 13 for the CDBG evaluation report for program year 2024-2025, and review is available at the Town website, Town Clerk’s office, and Normal Public Library. A public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 26 at the Normal Fire Department Headquarters — written comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. on June 27. City of Normal
- ➤ The Normal Town Council voted 5—2 on Monday night to ban short-term rentals in single-family zones except where the owner lives on the property. Town staff said only seven of the 49 current rentals meet the new rule. 25 News Now
