Every Saturday from May through October between 7:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., the Downtown Bloomington Farmers’ Market brings fresh fruits, vegetables, handmade items, and baked goods to Downtown Square.

A public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 26 at the Normal Fire Department Headquarters — written comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. on June 27.

The Normal Town Council voted 5—2 on Monday night to ban short-term rentals in single-family zones except where the owner lives on the property.

Town staff said only seven of the 49 current rentals meet the new rule.
