- ➤ Earlier this spring, local donor Kay Carius contributed 18 restaurant menus + other ephemera to the McLean County Museum of History in Bloomington, adding to a collection started by her late husband Larry Carius. - ➤ Illinois lawmakers approved a $55B budget that will add over $1B in tax increases for taxpayers—this plan includes a 45% tax on tobacco and vaping products, higher sports wagering taxes, and changes to corporate taxes, with the next fiscal year starting July 1. Cities 92.9
