- ➤ A complaint was filed with the State Board of Elections against former Normal mayoral candidate Kathleen Lorenz for allegedly breaking campaign finance laws by accepting a $28,000 contribution through the local GOP — Ben Matthews, who filed the complaint, said the money bypassed individual donation limits and disclosure rules.
