- ➤ The Neville House shelter partnered with the Bloomington-Normal Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.—and local business C&N Beauty Supply to host a beauty supply drive for domestic violence survivors in McLean County. - ➤ A Bloomington man was detained in McLean County and charged with drug DUI and reckless homicide for causing a fatal crash. The Pantagraph

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A complaint was filed with the State Board of Elections against former Normal mayoral candidate Kathleen Lorenz for allegedly breaking campaign finance laws by accepting a $28,000 contribution through the local GOP — Ben Matthews, who filed the complaint, said the money bypassed individual donation limits and disclosure rules. A closed preliminary hearing is expected in early May to review the allegations. WGLT
