- ➤ The BNCARE program will host a free air monitoring workshop from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 in Normal to teach locals how to measure air quality—attendees will gain hands-on experience with monitoring techniques. The Pantagraph
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi met with local business owners today to hear their concerns about rising energy costs and supply issues in Normal—he will use their feedback for future policy discussions. The Pantagraph
- ➤ Gov. Pritzker said he understands why labor leaders left the agreed‐bill process—a four-decade effort to unite labor and business—although a state legislator warned that this decision may lead to further economic trouble. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Great Clips salons are raising funds for OSF Healthcare’s Pediatric Resource Center in Peoria through November 2 – the effort is part of a 21-year partnership with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
