- ➤ Connect Transit started its free on-demand Connect Go service in McLean County last month and now plans to expand the service to nearby counties as demand grows. Managing Director David Braun said his agency will propose longer hours and extra vehicles at the county board meeting in October — expecting a fare to be introduced when the board meets in September.
