- ➤ Beaufort Street between the Uptown Circle and Linden Street will have no parking from noon until 1 p.m. on Aug. 2 for the Fiala Brothers Presents Pub Club Rocks festival. The street will reopen at 11 p.m. as the festival runs from 5 to 10 p.m. City of Normal
- ➤ Mayor Chris Koos named Adam Nielsen Town of Normal’s 2025 Citizen of the Year at the annual Appreciation Reception on July 29, 2024 for his service and advocacy for Alzheimer’s.
