- ➤ Community organizations rallied outside the county law center today to demand transparency about ICE activity after reports that the agency was seen at the courthouse — protestors raised signs and played live music to support immigrants. - ➤ A nuclear physicist from Illinois State University said U.S. military strikes on Iranian uranium enrichment sites over the weekend raised concerns about long-term military strategy and future diplomacy. He warned the conflict would limit U.S. ability to secure diplomatic success — stressing that diplomacy remains the safest method for reducing nuclear threats. WGLT
- ➤ Protesters gathered Monday afternoon at the Law and Justice Center to ask Sheriff Matt Lane for a meeting about ICE arrests and more transparency for immigrants in McLean County — groups like LUCIA and The Immigration Project led the march.
