- ➤ The McLean County treasurer’s office said it will mail corrected tax bills next week to property owners in the Olympia and Ridgeview school districts after errors in tax rate calculations led to lower rates. The corrected bills will list an extra balance due with the second installment on Sept. 4—while the first installment remains due today. WGLT

- ➤ First responders and community members took a Virtual Dementia Tour at Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Normal to experience the challenges of dementia and learn caregiving strategies—guided by trainer Zina Karana.
