- ➤ Miller Park Zoo will offer hour-long sensory tours beginning in June for visitors with sensory sensitivities. The tours will be held on the first Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and on the third Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a $5 fee payable in cash — registration is required and tours are led by KultureCity-trained staff who will feature two animals per session. - ➤ A new chapter of the National Organization of Women called Normal NOW started in Normal with its first meeting on May 13 at the public library. President Lindsey Delahunt said the group will meet again on June 10 and plans more events in July and August to fight for rights — like affordable health care and safe housing. WGLT

- ➤ Two women from Chicago were released after being accused of transporting about 4 pounds of meth through McLean County on May 23 + they must now report to pretrial services with arraignments set for June 13 and June 20. The Pantagraph
- ➤ A Bloomington man was detained in McLean County Jail — he was accused of breaking into multiple garages and stealing a car on Memorial Day. The Pantagraph
