- ➤ The third annual Rivian 5K run on Saturday, April 26 at Heartland Community College in Normal drew 830 runners who raised over $12,000 for the Ecology Action Center and Friends of the Constitution Trail. - ➤ After five years of planning, the Youth Education & Support Center at Project Oz expanded its 2,500-square-foot facility at 1105 W. Front St. to include new services such as a nutrition nook with free snacks and a dedicated laundry room featuring a new LG washer and dryer stack—creating a vital safe space for local youth. The center was certified as a behavioral health clinic by the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services—ensuring that youth can continue receiving trusted support after grant programs end.
