  • New Yorker cartoonist Amy Kurzweil gave the keynote at the AI and the Humanities conference at ISU on Wednesday, where she discussed her graphic memoir Artificial: A Love Story that uses a chatbot built from her father's work to connect her with her late grandfather. She explained that the book shows how art and technology can work together—emphasizing that people must choose how to use AI in creative work.  WGLT

  • Women to Women Giving Circle will host a free public forum on April 29 to discuss McLean County's new Family Treatment Court for at-risk families—organizers said attendees will learn how the court will support families in need.  The Pantagraph
