- ➤ Glen Robinson, 61, of Bloomington was detained in McLean County after he allegedly caused a fatal crash on March 8 that killed 49-year-old Scott W. Smith when he ran a red light while under the influence and is charged with aggravated DUI (third offense) and reckless homicide; his arraignment is set for April 25. Cities 92.9
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Illinois Wesleyan University and InnoVators will host the 11th annual InnoVators Pitch Competition from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, where high school students can present innovative ideas. - ➤ Illinois State University and its faculty union reached a tentative contract agreement on Friday, averting a strike after more than 13 months of negotiations.
