- ➤ A new report by Insurify said tariffs could drive auto insurance rates in Illinois 18% higher - causing drivers to pay about $300 more than they would without the tariffs. - ➤ Illinois State University reached tentative agreements during talks between the professors' union and administration on work loads and course organization; four straight days of bargaining sessions start today—one of which is set for Thursday—to address the remaining issues if a strike occurs. - ➤ Representatives from AMVETS Post 270 in McLean County presented funding to the Heartland Community College Foundation to create an endowed nursing scholarship in honor of Vivian O.
