- ➤ The Normal Public Library is close to finishing its roughly $7 million renovation and asbestos removal project but now faces a failing roof on its 1973 building—bids for a replacement estimated to cost over $500,000 will be reviewed in April or May. ISU athletics director Jerri Beggs announced that head coach Kristen Gillespie signed a five-year contract extension through the 2029-2030 season — her contract terms were not disclosed. WGLT
