- ➤ Miller Park Zoo has started a naming contest for its new wallaroo where donors can choose between Koko, Penelope, and Sydney on the zoo’s website; the winning name will be announced on March 9 (proceeds support animal care and education). 25 News Now
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Normal Community High School won a top prize at the KidWind Renewable Energy Challenge held at the Challenger Learning Center (HCC) at Heartland Community College. Students showcased strong STEM skills during the competition. The Pantagraph
- ➤ At Normal Theater on Tuesday, ISU criminologist Charles Bell launched his book (No Restraint) to present research showing disabled students face restraint and seclusion far more than reported. Bell's work highlights the need for clearer school reporting and better teacher training. WGLT
